You can do all kinds of things to make your garden and / or landscaping more and more alluring. If you have a pond, you may consider water plants such as water lilies, and, of course, there are many more. This article will focus on many different pink floral water lilies especially to best suit your personal taste. Some people would just love a touch of alluring and fragrant pink blossoms to add to the ambiance of their outdoor home décor. A pond is, I believe, a wonderful place to begin, and the possibilities of what you can do with a garden pond are many.
The first of the many, beautiful pink water lilies I will discuss is one called the American Star. The American Star is a kind of pink hardy water lily with a beautiful starburst of narrow, pale pink petals and a yellowish center. The lily under discussion here fits into the category of what they call “free flowering” - but less so than other kinds of pink water lilies. This has something to do with the fact that the petals of an American star, in the same family of pink lilies are much narrower than the others. This species of water lily is an odorata rhizome. If you plant your American star lilies in a large tub, the plant will reproduce, spread and create more blossoms. This hardly lily will become dormant in the winter, but the entire spread of your American star pink hardly water lilies will typically reach between four and six feet. The leaves of these lily pads are a light, pea-soup color similar to very many lily pads - not dark like some lily pads can be.
